Binding

The three images above indicate the difference between wire, spiral and comb binding. We have facilities to
wire bind and comb bind only.

Comb binding is avialable from A6 to A4. Plastic combs are availabe in a range of colours and diameters from
6mm to 28mm round, and 28mm to 51mm oval.

Wire binding is more flexible. We buy the wire on the reel and cut to length in-house. Our wire binding is
automated up to 1/2" diameter, and closed by hand up to 1" diameter. We are able to offer over length binding,
and for calendars with multiple hangers. The longest calendar bound was 840mm with two hangers.

All diameters of wire are available in all colours.

We can punch punching patterns shown below on our 2 Rilecart F-500 punches. These machines have a
punching length of 500mm and will punch up to 800gsm board. We also use these machines to punch other
materials such as pri-plak covers and acetate. Not all materials can be punched, effectively - generally the stiffer
the material the better it is to punch.
